Padel Craft USA Premium Court Solutions

Padel Courts in Florida

Florida is the leading padel state in the U.S. We supply and install padel courts and covers across Florida, with engineering that reflects the state's wind rules. Our office is in Miami.

If you are planning a padel court in Florida, you are building where the sport is strongest. The 1,000th court in the country opened in Coral Gables in April 2026, as reported by Primetime Padel, and Padel Browser's directory shows Florida ahead of every other state. Hotels, condo communities, private clubs and homeowners all ask for courts.

What to plan for in Florida

Wind and hurricanes

Glass walls, mesh and covers catch wind, so design and anchoring matter more here than in most states. Florida projects follow the Florida Building Code, and Miami-Dade and Broward counties sit in the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone, which has stricter product approval and testing requirements. We coordinate engineering with you for your site, and the city or county building department makes the final call.

Salt air and humidity

Coastal air corrodes steel. Our courts use hot-dip galvanized steel with an oven-baked paint finish, which helps. For waterfront sites, ask about the finish and about regular inspection of fasteners.

Heat, sun and sudden rain

Afternoon heat and summer storms limit outdoor play. Evening lighting and shade, or a fixed or retractable cover, make courts usable for more hours. The base also needs good drainage for heavy downpours. See court covers.

Permits and approvals

Expect a building permit from your city or county, electrical permits for lighting, and approval from the condo association or HOA if you are in a managed community. Waterfront sites can face extra coastal construction rules.

Which court suits Florida

The Standard court covers most clubs and communities. For hotels, waterfront projects and premium clubs where the view matters, the Panoramic and Full Panoramic courts give a cleaner glass back wall. Details are on the specifications page.

Frequently asked questions

Do padel courts in Florida need hurricane engineering?

Yes. Courts and covers are designed for the wind exposure of the site, and Miami-Dade and Broward counties have stricter product approval rules. Your building department confirms what applies.

Can I build a padel court at my condo or HOA?

Usually yes, with board approval, a suitable location and a building permit. See our guide for communities.

Do you install outside Miami?

Yes. We supply and install across Florida and in all U.S. states.

Do I need a cover in Florida?

Not required, but shade or a cover makes courts usable in more hours during summer heat and rain.
